‘The Gentlemen’ Sets Season 2 Release Date at Netflix

Netflix has set the official premiere date for “The Gentlemen” Season 2.

The second season of the action comedy series will launch on Sept. 3 on the streaming service. Netflix has also released a first-look teaser for the new season, which can be seen below.

The official logline for Season 2 states, “It’s been one year since Eddie (Theo James) and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) joined forces to work together in Bobby’s (Ray Winstone) criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound.  Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…”

Along with James, Scodelario, and Winstone, the returning cast includes Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones. New cast members include: Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr and TV host, broadcaster and entrepreneur Maya Jama.

Guy Ritchie created the series, based off his film of the same name. Both Ritchie and Matthew Read are writers and executive producers on the show, with Ritchie also directing. Eran Creevy is also a director on Season 2. Will Gould, Frith Tiplady and Simon Crawford Collins of Moonage Pictures also executive produce along with Ivan Atkinson. Laura Jackson and Max Keene are producers. Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Miramax Television produce.

Season 1 of “The Gentlemen” proved to be a hit in March 2024, spending 10 weeks on the Global Top 10 English language TV chart.
