Michael Strahan and Constance Schwartz-Morini’s SMAC Productions to Launch Podcast Network, Featuring a Show They’re Co-Hosting
SMAC Productions, the entertainment and content studio founded by “Good Morning America” co-anchor and NFL star Michael Strahan and his longtime business partner Constance Schwartz-Morini, is diving into the podcast biz. And the duo are getting behind the mic themselves as part of the company’s new initiative.
SMAC’s new podcast network, dubbed The Intersection, is launching in partnership with Sinclair’s AMP Media digital content arm.
The network will launch later in 2026 with two flagship shows. One will be hosted by Strahan and Schwartz-Morini, in which they will interview celebrities, executives and “the unsung heroes behind their success” for “candid cross-industry conversations about leadership, entrepreneurship and reinvention,” according to SMAC. The second podcast will pair Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens and comedian-writer-producer Chris Spencer, who will sit down together to discuss sports, pop culture and trending headlines.

All programming for The Intersection will be produced in-house by SMAC, with AMP Media handling distribution, audience development and ad sales. The expansion into podcasting builds on SMAC’s existing slate of scripted and unscripted content across TV, film and digital media. The move also supports podcasts for SMAC-affiliated talent such as “Calm Down” with Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson and “The Nikki & Brie Show,” hosted by the twin sisters who were formerly a WWE tag-team.
AMP Media will add The Intersection shows to its podcast lineup, which includes “The Triple Option” with Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II and Rob Stone, “Unfiltered Soccer” with Landon Donovan and Tim Howard, “Throwbacks” with Matt Leinart and Jerry Ferrara, “Post Moves” with Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston, “Cousins” with Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, and “Style of Play” with Julie Ertz and Kealia Watt.
“Building enduring brands and telling compelling stories has always been at the core of SMAC’s mission,“ said April Guidone, chief operating officer of SMAC. “Launching a podcast network is a natural evolution of that mission, creating another platform for authentic voices to deepen audience connections, spark meaningful conversations and build communities that resonate across sports, entertainment and culture. Together with AMP Media, we’re excited to bring that vision to life.”
Rob Weisbord, COO and president of local media at Sinclair, added, “SMAC has built an exceptional reputation for developing talent and creating compelling content that resonates with audiences. We’re excited to partner with Michael, Constance and the entire SMAC team to connect with fans in meaningful ways and create new opportunities for brands through the power of AMP’s distribution and media platforms.”
