Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show and Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Concert Film Land Emmy Nominations
Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl Halftime Show and Taylor Swift‘s “Eras Tour: The Final Show” concert film have landed Emmy nominations.
“The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny” landed a total of nine nominations, making it the most-nominated Super Bowl halftime show in Emmys history. It was nominated for outstanding variety special (live), production design for a variety special, choreography for variety or reality programming, technical direction and camerawork for a special, directing for a variety special, hairstyling for a variety, nonfiction or reality program and lighting design/lighting direction for a special.
Meanwhile, Swift earned her second Emmy nomination for concert film “The Eras Tour: The Final Show” in the variety special (pre-recorded) category. Swift is credited as a producer on the special.

“The Eras Tour” was also nominated in picture editing for variety programming, directing for a variety special, technical direction and camerawork for a special and sound mixing for a variety series or special.
Sabrina Carpenter can also add Emmy nominee to her list of credits. Carpenter was nominated for Disney’s “The Muppet Show” in the outstanding variety special (pre-recorded) category.
Elsewhere, Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood as well as composers Kris Bowers, Hans Zimmer and Daniel Pemberton were among the artisans who led the Creative Arts Emmy nominations.
Pemberton was a double nominee for “Slow Horses” and the original song “The Devil You Know” from “Spider-Noir,” whereas Bowers earned a nod for his “Spider-Noir” score. Atwood earned her second Emmy nom for “Wednesday,” while makeup effects department head Barrie Gower landed his 11th nomination for “Stranger Things.” Michael Bauman, who worked on the Oscar-winning “One Battle After Another,” also landed a nomination in outstanding cinematography for a limited or anthology series or movie for “Monster: The Ed Gein Story.”
Emmys voting ends on Aug. 26, with the Creative Arts Emmys being handed out on Sept. 5 and 6. The Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced on Sept. 14.
