AMC Theatres CEO Shares Detailed Account of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding: ‘It Did Not Look Like Madison Square Garden’
AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron took to X on Friday night to share a detailed account of what went down inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding.
“It did not look like Madison Square Garden,” Aron wrote in the since-deleted post. “Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceiling… was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pitctures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year, from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”
He continued, “A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space. Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat. Everything draped off this time in green and white. Real flowers and I think artificial three welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs. They say there were around one thousand attendees, but surprisingly, it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”

Aron recalled that “romantic songs played” to set the mood until “a few violins and cello ushered in the wedding party.” While making mention of an officiant, whom we know was Adam Sandler, Aron never called him by name. He wrote that Sandler was “so warm and welcoming, funny and eloquent.”
Aron described Swift and Kelce’s vows as “long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing.” He added, “This is no small love. Each at the absolute pinnacle of their worlds. Each so obviously head over heels about having found their soulmate.“
“Congrats to ‘Trav and Tay-tay,’” Aron concluded. “Swifities everywhere and a perharps larger-than-normal Chiefs Nation wishes that your happy day will continue without end.”
Aron’s connection to Swift goes back to 2023, when he put her “Eras Tour” in movie theaters worldwide and grossed $261 million. As for the Kelce connection, AMC’s headquarters is located in Kansas City, where the Super Bowl champ’s team, the Chiefs, is located.
While it’s unclear why Aron deleted his post, Variety reported that the online wedding invites came bundled with NDAs. So it’s possible he had second thoughts about sharing his account if such an agreement was in place.
